What is SEM?

SEM (Search Engine Marketing), also known as PPC (Pay-Per-Click) is the paid listing ads in search engines. These results are normally found at the top, and on the right hand side of "organic" search results. The main PPC providers are Google, Yahoo, MSN, and MIVA.
